Pregnancy is an exciting time for a woman, but it can also bring up a lot of questions and cause anxiety. Now, a few new apps promise to help expecting mothers ease their fears.
Women can utilize the “Baby Bump” app to get weekly updates on their baby’s development, what’s going on with their body and useful health tips. Additionally, the app offers a journal where women can chart their moods and weight changes.
Nervous moms-to-be can even watch videos about delivery in order to prepare. Then, as their due date nears, moms can register each kick and contraction using a special counter tool.
Another app called “The Pregnancy Companion” offers more personalized services. Developed by several OB-GYNs, the app allows users to send questions straight to doctors anytime they need to. It also tracks the baby’s growth and due date, and it contains a list of drug safety information for expectant mothers.
Don’t worry – there’s an app for after the baby arrives, too. The “Baby Connect” app helps keep track of feedings, diaper changes, sleep schedules and medication. The app also enables moms to add additional users to the app, so that they can share information with their spouse or other caregiver.
